Seeding Procedure
The seeding awill be published at the tournamentwebsite, at least 3 days before the start of the event.
a) After the entry deadline, all players with an ESF Junior Ranking will be seeded according to the latest ESF Junior Rankings.
For players from outside Europe who do not have an ESF Junior Ranking — or only have results from a maximum of two tournaments — the seeding will be determined manually by the Tournament Director. The Tournament Director may consult the ESF Junior Seeding Panel for guidance.
The final seeding list, along with the starting times for each age group, will be published online one week before the event.
The draw will be released two days prior to the start of the tournament.
b) Additionally, the Tournament Director reserves the right to seed any player who finished in the top 8 of the most recent European Junior U19 Individual Championships, regardless of their position in the current ESF Junior Rankings.
(For this purpose, the “most recent” U19 Championships refers to the edition held within 12 months prior to the tournament’s entry deadline.)
c) While the final responsibility for seeding lies with the Tournament Director, advice and approval from the ESF Junior Seeding Panel should be obtained for all Silver, Gold and Platinum events.
